Class 308 due to arrive

The AC EMU Group is proud to announce that, on the 1st October 2004, Class 308 BDTSOL no. 75881 will be arriving at its new home in preservation at the Pump House, Walthamstow, London.

After a 2 year campaign to save an example of Class 304/305/308, the Group was able to secure a suitable example. The Appeal has reached the point where we can welcome this vehicle under our wing.

We would like to publicly thank the efforts of both Angel Trains and Serco for their help in saving this vehicle.

This is only the beginning, and now the really hard work will start; namely restoring the carriage. If anyone would be interested in helping out with this (or making a donation however small), then please contact the Group.
